Luck was not going our way when the skipper was ill and unable to play. On arrival at the game Jack Jurd was late, so some last second amendments to the team was carried out. 15 minutes and a penalty was awarded and JJ was put on quickly to take it. Unfortunately he missed, but just 2 minutes later a great run through by Tom Griffin allowed him to slot a well taken goal. The battle carried on and another penalty was awarded, this time to Dynamoes. It was well converted. After this there was very few chances and the defence who played extremely well held out until the end. Dan Lee and Addison both went close on occasions, but it was not to be. All in all a draw was a fair result and the boys just need to beat the opposition at home if they are to win the league. Hats off, to Nathan Carvell who had a stormer today, he was well deserving of the MOM.
